Alexander Wang's resort 2010 collection was definitely refreshing. He's obviously moving forward and straying a bit away from his aggressive edginess that we've been seeing in his recent collections. Instead, for this collection he's referencing Classic American Sportswear - preppy done the Wang way. The collection featured high waisted skirts, draped dresses, tulip hems , jersey cocktail dresses, nautical stripes and a dash of sequins.
All kept oh so modern, yet extremely effortless! The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner is definitely in a league of his own, such an accomplishment for the young designer!
