Emma Watson AKA Hermione Granger will be the face of Burberry's fall/winter 2009 Ad Campaign, photographed by Mario Testino. WOW, I confess I am in a bit of shock, she's upstaging top models like Lily Donaldson who is featured in this season's S/S 09 campaigns for the house.
This is quite an accomplishment. The shooting for the campaign took place at Burberry’s new headquarters in London and will break out in magazines in August. Early next month, the full ad will be featured in Burberry's official website and will also come along with an interactive digital campaign directed by Bailey that includes podcasts and behind-the-scenes footage.
“I wanted the images to represent both the rich history and the modernity of the Burberry brand, while at the same time reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today,”
said Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey.
