Natasha Poly will grace the Vogue Nippon cover for the issue of June later this year. Photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and styled by George Cortina, Poly wears a Spring/Summer 2009 Burberry Prorsum ochre and honey colored coat and hat.
The cotton dégradé trench coat is available on both MyTheresa and Net-A-Porter online stores.
Supermodel Chanel Iman was photographed arriving at the Fall/Winter 2009 Jeremy Scott fashion show in Paris wearing her very own, fresh pair of fabulous Akiko Ogawa fall 09 boots. These boots obviously aren't even out yet, so I'm guessing they were a present from the designer, considering she opened the Akiko Ogawa show. These boots are simply to die for, when I first saw them I was in awe. Consisting of black leather, metal plated and belted, they definitely make a huge statement. But I must admit, they bear a striking resemblance to Stella McCartney's footwear for her fall/winter 2008 collection, which was also a big hit this fall.
Twenty-Eight year old Brazilian model Ana Cláudia Michels, will be featured in an Editorial shot by Dusan Reljin for the May issue of German Vogue which Arlenis Sosa Pena is the covergirl for. With an editorial named Lust-Spiele, one would imagine sensual and seducing styling, but in fact, the shoot was very elegant and quite romantic. The platinum blonde can be seen in a handful of designers including Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, Nina Ricci, Giambattista Valli, and Roberto Cavalli.
Dominican model, Arlenis Sosa Pena will grace May's issue of German Vogue photographed by Alexi Lubomirski wearing a Lanvin Spring 2009 garment. She was discovered at the 2006 Elite Model Look contest in her native land. Arlenis has recently been in demand for the S/S & F/W 2009 shows, walking for designers such as Alexander Wang, Oscar De La Renta, Michael Kors and more.
The 25 year old, Polish-born Canadian-Ukrainian model, Daria Werbowy will grace next month's Issue of French Vogue, and will also be featued in an editorial of the same issue, both shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. On the Cover, we can see she's wearing some pieces straight from the Gucci Spring/Summer 2008 runway.
Gucci's iconic Flora print has been lucky for Frida Giannini - in fact, since she brought it back, her work in the Italian brand has been really great. Now, as a tribute to this classic print, they're launching a fragrance called Flora.
The fragrance is feminine and classic, with floral notes and aimed at younger consumers. Sweeter then Gucci by Gucci, it's designed for today's young, modern and sensual women. For Giannini, Flora is a day fragrance, and Gucci by Gucci for night-time. A classic name for the brand to define a new stage in their history, as Flora seems set to be the first of a new group of young Gucci fragrances. The first time we saw the Flora print was in 1966, when Princess Grace Kelly made it iconic. The packaging is the black and white version of the Flora print, which is also used for the material worn by Australian model Abbey Lee in the ad campaign photographed by Inez & Vinoodh.
Here's the spectacular video ad for the new fragrance:
