Anna Sui Spring/Summer Ad Campaign

The Anna Sui S/S 2009 ad campaign was gor-geous! Starring Asian model Du Juan, this is definitely one of the best ad campaigns this season! Sad thing is, it's not seen in any mainstream US publication, like Vogue, Elle, or Glamour for example. The campaign doesn't even show on Anna Sui's american website, only the Japanese one. Which is a shame because it really is a spectacular shot!

Anna Sui said herself in a recent interview with New York Times that the majority of her revenue comes from the Asia-Pacific region (particularly from sales of fragrances and cosmetics) like Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong, where she is extremely popular.

YSL "Elle Shocking" Fragrance Ad Campaign

Photographed by Terry Richardson, Anna Selezneva is the face of the YSL "Elle Shocking" fragrance ad campaign. Both in video and print advertising. Although I disliked Selezneva at first, I've grown quite fond of her. Coming from the Russian Federation, Anna Selezneva is one of the most sought after models from the pack of newcomers.

Her name being originally, Natasha Polevshchikova, the model walked over 470 runways and has been on the cover of Vogue more then twenty times. She's definitely come a long way from being the girl who simply fantasized over fashion magazines. Even at the start of her career , back when she was discovered in 2004, in her first season she was on the cover of French Vogue and took the fashion industry by storm. Poly is a very versatile model, possessing the ability to transform her facial expressions yet still looking amazing. Another one of her signatures is her fierce runway walk and spectacular pose. Natasha Poly is definitely here to stay.

March is almost over, but we still have some time for Anja Rubik's "Black & White" Editorial for this month's issue of UK Vogue. I'm not a big fan of Anja but no doubt she looks spectacular in this editorial. She definitely knows hot to work her stuff!

Snejana Onopka at the L’Officiel Awards

Ukrainian supermodel, Snejana Onopka attended the L’Officiel Awards in Kiev earlier this week.
She looked fabulous of course in a Balmain Fall/Winter 2008 LBD with embellished detail and stunning fringed Christian Louboutin boots. Her body is amazing, Miss Onopka happens to be my favorite model of all time! ♥

Audrey Marnay for M Magazine

Model Audry Marnay graced the cover for the premiere issue debut of Le Monde's fashion Magazine, M. Which will be going on newsstands as a monthly fashion magazine. Shot by Matthias Vriens during Paris Fashion Week. The photographer also shot a stunning line-up of models in a dashing editorial that is featured inside the magazine. Which includes some of the most sought after faces in the industry.
The editorial features models: Audrey Marnay, Tanya Dziahileva, Denisa Dvorakova, Adama, Daiane Conterato, Sophie Vlaming, Alla, Axel M, Axel H, Syri, Vlada Roslyakova, and Liu Wen.

Balenciaga F/W 09 Shoe Detail shots

Ever since the debut of the Balenciaga F/W 09 collection, I have been dieing to get shots of different angles of the shoes, considering Balenciaga has always intricate, innovative footwear. And I had looked everywhere for shots and couldn't find any. But recently style.com added detail shots of the collection, and the shoes were finally seen in various angles other then just from the front.
The shoes came in either a bootie or sandal version. Varying in colors and different patterns that perfectly complimented the collection. The front platform of most of the shoes had an almost 'icy' like detail and at the top were knotted with a strip of suede.

The Season Shoe; Louis Vuitton "Spicy" Heels

We definitly can point out the must-have item this season and the IT shoe all at once, meet The Spicy, from the Louis Vuitton S/S 2009 collection. So move over YSL tribute two pumps! God I couldn't bare seeing them on anyone else!
This latest home-made creation at Louis Vuitton has already been seen all over fashion editors, fashionistas and celebrities alike. From Madonna to Heidi Klum and, of course, Victoria Beckham.
The Spicy retails at over 2k, a whopping price of $2,200 to be exact.
Katie Grand, editor of Love magazine and stylist for Louis Vuitton talks about the shoe's creation, mentioning:
“Its birth was at about three in the morning, with Marc [Jacobs] cutting up bits of snake, leather, leopard and ribbon, and the design team making masks to put on the front. Nearly every pair in the show was unique, which I think people also like.”
And that element of uniqueness definitly contributes to the Spicy turning out to be such a coveted shoe.

Nicole Richie on the cover of the upcoming Black Book magazine's April issue, which will go on newsstands as the special Music issue, which Is ironic, has the time finally come for her music debut? There's also a featured editorial, and It's OBVIOUS that the whole styling, hair, and make-up was heavily referenced to Lady GaGa. There is no doubt about that at all. She's even got a peroxide-blond wig cut into blunt bangs. She looks flawless though,the hair looks great on her and her make-up is heavenly.
