PFW: Isabel Marant Fall/Winter 2009

I always love Isabel Marant. She shows very fashion conscious and stylish clothing yet always very cool and wearable. It's clothes every girl would love to wear. This fall she leaned toward glam-rock chick, but not in a overly edgy fashion, this season, she works towards a softer side, with a number of bohemian influences. The designer showed ruffled and ruched floral frocks with an animal flare, which were tight leopard-print skirts or quilted snakeskin-patterned jackets for example. The collection also featured hippie style silk shirtdresses and lovely tights with zips along the sides. Coats and Jackets came with dropped shoulders and pants were tucked into thigh-high boots. Fur was quite abundant, giving the collection a very thriftshop feeling.
The shoes were studded and also came in an all black version, they were fabulous. And
actually just hours after the show , Emmanuelle Alt was already wearing her very own pair.
