Stella McCartney's last fall collection was divine, and I expected no less this season. And she definitely delivered. Using both masculine and feminine elements, the collection was the epitome of sophistication and polished to perfection. The collection shows a series of fantastic jackets and coats with elongated lapels, some cinched at the waist with skinny belts, which were of course no leather. The jackets also weren't created in leather but came in “non leather sheen cupro” as well did the thigh-high boots, which I fell insanely in love with. Stella is known for not using animals skins in her collections. The designer's alternative to fur were the cozy big loopy coats that looked fabulous. Towards the end came an array of lovely dresses, like the black gown with lace insets or the silver sequined embellished number Natasha Poly strutted down the runway with.
